And so, like any human being would, they tried to make it better by ignoring what was right in front of them and focusing on things that didn’t seem important at the time but proved to be very important down the road. Like most people who ignore things that don’t seem appealing at first glance, Adam and Eve made a lot of mistakes along the way which caused them both pain and led them away from where they needed to go toward where they didn’t want to go.
It wasn’t until Jesus Christ came into their lives on earth as a man who lived out exactly what He said He would do (see Matthew 4:17-22) did Adam and Eve finally get it right again…at least in their minds anyway (see Romans 5:12-21).
